About Studio 22
Studio 22 is owned by interior designer, Elz Wilkinson.
For the last 10 years, Elz has been dedicated to the styling and renovation projects for both residential and commercial use on the Sunshine Coast. With an emphasis on contemporary kitchen and bathroom design, and timeless coastal styling.
In addition to renovation projects, Elz provides interior design consultations for commercial projects, assisting clients with colour schemes, fixture and finishes selections and joinery design with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
Inspiration
The Stahl House (also known as Case Study House #22) is a modernist-styled house designed by architect Pierre Koenig in the Hollywood Hills section of Los Angeles, California
Built in 1959 as part of the Case Study Houses program, the house is considered an iconic representation of modern architecture in Los Angeles during the twentieth century. It was made famous by a Julius Shulman photograph showing two women leisurely sitting in a corner of the house with an eventide panoramic view of the city through floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The house was used in numerous fashion shoots, films, and advertising campaigns.
Elz was lucky enough to visit the Stahl House in 2014.
